Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a very important role at Cartersville Medical Center by helping us to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare to the Bartow County and the surrounding areas. They do this a number of ways:
Augmenting and expanding the services provided by our staff. Providing supplemental services which contribute to patient care and satisfaction. Helping to spread the word about the good things happening at Cartersville Medical Center within the community.
Volunteers provide services such as assisting patients who are being admitted and discharged, visiting and assisting patients and assisting in making the patient's stay more comfortable. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer, please call (770) 387-8180 and speak with Mitzi Oates, our Director of Volunteer Services.
Additionally, the Hospital Volunteers assist at the Information Desk, Outpatient Surgery Area, and Gift Shop. They also deliver flowers and mail to the patients. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Auxiliary, please call Mitzi Oates, our Director of Volunteer Services at (770) 387-8180.
